Camp ground is good for picnic and recreation area. They have both electric and non electric campgrounds with good shower and bathroom area. It also has a 3 mi trail surrounding the lake.
It was nice. New bathrooms and showers. I just don't like we have to pay to go to the beach. We already pay to stay at the camp site. I would recommend it

Lake Glendale includes a nice lake with access for fishing, swimming, hiking, and camping near the shore. Despite the state's budget problems the area is well maintained. It is possible to circumambulate the lake on the main trail. This is a good area for observing wildflowers and birds. We have never camped there, but have driven and walked through the campground several times on birdwatching trips. There is a full-time campground host, well maintained campsites, and a heated, year-around bathroom and shower facility.
The camp grounds are beautiful very clean with lots of trees and privacy, we rented the goose bay shelter overnight and loved it. the bathrooms need work (I think they had a leak) I actually would have prefered vault toilets as the floor was constantly wet.
