The staff is terrific and will bend over backwards and sideways to make sure you are happy and satisfied.

I've only been volunteering out here for about a week now, but its absolutely amazing in every possible way to me, everyone is so accepting and nice. You're defiantly not aloud to be shy, Carol made me feel as if I was part of the family within 10mintues of being there my first day. The rooms are VERY nice, and I love how each horse has their own personalities. Some better than others, lol. The friends I've made this past week, it seems as if I've known them for years, I just instantly clicked with this place the second I stepped foot on the property. Most everywhere that I've volunteered or worked the people in charge have acted like a boss and told you exactly what to do and when to do it. Wasn't really the most welcoming thing in the world. But not Carol, she makes sure everyone feels equal and I think I like that most about helping out at the stables.. My life hasn't exactly been the easiest and I've never really found a place that I felt comfortable at, but being out here, I finally found a place where I feel like I belong.
Love this place. If you are high fuluting, want bling, super clean, don't get dirty, can't break a nail person this place is not for you. It's a FARM, being perfectly manicured around the pasture and barn is not happening.
It's quaint, backwoods, and beautiful. The horses are trained well, and have great personalities.
I have been visiting Lake Glendale Stables for 21 years. The horses are wonderful and cater to all levels of riders from children to adults. The trails themselves are beautiful with bluffs and a waterfalls. We also take out the boats/canoe at the pond and go fishing. We have also done the zip-line over the lake and jumped into the water. There is so much to do and see! We really enjoy seeing Carol as well! She is a great host, and have true southern hospitality. She is also always adding and improving lodging! We also love to visit the area attractions and wineries near Lake Glendale Stables. I will ALWAYS be back.

Awesome place! I love coming here, and Carol (the inn keeper & owner) is so sweet and so nice. The horses are all great and I especially love the 1 hour ride. The trees and the forest on the trails are so gorgeous. I would definitely recommend coming here to ride.
